Change of Plans

Okay, now that I've had time to think about my solutions. I can only come up with one easy solution for this problem.

The archive is moving to Substack.

Let me explain.

I noticed the other day that RSS feed are not working. They haven't been working since like Chapter 7 of Edict, and started back working at the last post I made. I don't know if it will continue to work.

Weebly archive system leaves a lot to be desired and I discovered that if you click on the chapter directly on the link page. It doesn't have proper navigation. Which I thought it did.

SquareSpace doesn't want to improve Weebly it seems and is too busy acquiring more things than improve all their products. I don't know if SquareSpace has the intention of supporting Weebly. They are bleeding users.

So, a decision has been reached. I was looking to Substack for a suitable new mirror, however, Substack is going to be the home for the archive. This site will be shut down. This domain hopefully transferred.

It will not be all at once.

I made plans to slow down updates to one day a week while I finish the draft to the non-Brotherhood Archive novel. However, I feel the need I will have to do this first.

1. I'm going to be reposting every chapter by hand because Weebly doesn't make it easy to transfer your data as if they are trying to for you to stay because of sunken cost fallacy.
   
2. I'm going to try to finish Hy'Ruh'Ha loaded by the end of this week and see what sort of 0rganization I can manage.
   
3. Then Crossroads will be uploaded
   
4. Then Edict will be uploaded.
   
5. Then Changes will be uploaded to the point that each site is congruent.
   
6. The Monk and the Princess will be completed here and Substack. After that, all updates will only be on Substack only.
   
7. Come November or December, or sooner. This place will hopefully be unpublished. The domain transferred.
   
8. Ebook versions of the novels will be started with Hy'Ruh-Ha uploaded somewhere. The ebooks will not be professional edited and likely offered for free. I can't afford editing.
   

So, this place will stay up for now, while I'll be in the background trying to find a new better and permanent home for the archive.

The next actually story update will be in Thursday and will continue being that way for the foreseeable future. Sorry for all of this. I wish I could have done all of this when I was on break instead of discovering a bunch of problems when I come back. Well, time to fix everything.
